OUR CURRICULUM
Our curriculum builds on what children already know and can do, and is designed to be imaginative, challenging, relevant to their needs and offers them opportunities to become involved in first hand experiences and purposeful play.
CHARACTER BUILDING
To foster social and emotional development, encourage independence, self-esteem and respect for others through interaction.
SKILL DEVELOPMENT
To develop mathematical, communication and literacy skills by talking, listening and reading with the children.
INITIATING CREATIVITY
To encourage creativity by extending the choice and control that children have over their own play.

I am in awe at how much Lauren has grown both emotionally and intellectually since she started at Sunrise last year. While I would like to take credit as her parent, I know that much of it is due to you and your incredible staff. Your program has taught Lauren to refine her motor skills, number and letter recognition, organization, and how to spell her name. These lessons have resulted in a great sense of pride for her. After school Lauren is often tracing letters; happily dancing around and singing songs she learned in school; and sharing with us newfound life skills such as cooking, folding laundry, and sweeping. Lauren adores Ms. Jossie and Ms. Jessica and speaks of them often. Even though Lauren is my special princess, I have seen Ms. Jossie and Ms. Jessica treat all the children royally. Ms. Jossie and Ms. Jessica have a keen understanding and concern for their students, always putting their needs first, and the children respond to this treatment positively. I am particularly impressed with their ability to nurture their students while keeping the classroom calm and orderly. I am sure the atmosphere they foster allows the students to feel secure, concentrate, which brings greater opportunities for learning. Your excellence, dedication, and love are make Sunrise an exceptional place and a natural extension of the family. We could not have asked for a better start on Laurens educational journey.”
